About moi

My name is Jolene and I am currently (newly) 23. 

Obviously my eyes are not naturally that big. 

I decided to start a blog because my loveable but yet EXTREMELY bossy friend has been badgering me to get one for the longest time. Since apparently I'm a pushover, here is my blog!


Here are three important things to know about me:
- I'm a moose lover (hence the blog name)
- Obsess does not describe my feelings for tennis
- I'm a French speaking Acadian Canadian


Because of this last thing, some of my posts will be in French and some will be in English. Je suis trop fière d'être francophone pour ne pas écrire en français!


I recently finished my Bachelors Degree in Education with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry. That's right, I'm a glorified math/science geek. 

This is the kind of joke that makes me laugh.

What with finishing my studies, I had to find myself a job, preferably a teaching job! And so, by leaving my resume at a job fair, I ended up accepting a teaching job in Calgary. That's right, this little Frederictonian-Acadian-New Brunswicker is going to become a steak eating-country music loving-cowgirl Calgarian. Considering I'm not a big fan of any of these things, this could get interesting!


Anyways, so I'll keep you guys posted on my Calgarian adventures!
